Beginning in 1964, Triangle X was one of the first companies in Jackson to float the Snake River. Several major film companies and publications have selected Triangle X Float Trips. Here, a crew from Walt Disney works on a nature and wildlife series. Recognized by professionals for a tradition of excellence, Triangle X Float Trips have also been featured in National Geographic Magazine, Life Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, and on CBS Morning with Charles Kuralt.
Our river guides are all personable, top hands who have been given extensive and ongoing training.
Our guides must demonstrate proficiency in oarsmanship, raft rigging, equipment maintenance, river conservation, and river rescue procedures. In addition, all guides are trained in First Aid and CPR. We take great pride in our interpretation of the flora and fauna, geology and history of Jackson Hole.
On a scenic float trip, your family will have excellent opportunities to view wildlife in their natural environment. On the river banks, visitors see moose, elk, bison, and coyotes. It is exciting to watch waterfowl, beaver, osprey and eagles utilize the river as a way of life.
We are proud to say our equipment is
safe, state of the art and well maintained.
