Do you provide fishing gear?
Yes, we will provide fishing poles for you. We do require you to provide your own flies and leaders. Flies and leaders can be purchased at Snake River Anglers if we meet there. If we meet at Triangle X the guides can provide them but need to be reimbursed.
How long is the trip?
We float a ten mile section of river. The trip is around eight hours from pickup to dropoff.
Where do you depart from?
Our trips depart from either Triangle X Ranch (23 miles North of Jackson) or Snake River Anglers (12 miles North of Jackson in Moose ).

What should we wear?
Comfortable clothes - jeans or shorts (depending upon temperatures). Layer warmer clothing on top. Wear sandals for walking in water if you have them. Rain ponchos will be provided if necessary. If you have a rain jacket please bring it.
What should we bring?
Sunblock, a hat, cameras, sunglasses (polarized are best), waders for colder times if you have them.
Is this trip okay for elderly people and children?
Yes, children five and up usually do well. The trip is not too stressful for elderly people. It is possible to stay in the boat most of the trip.
What is the minimum age for children?
Five years old is old enough to make it through a half-day. A mature ten can stand a full day.
What will we see?
Lots of fish. Beautiful scenery. Opportunities for photos of wildlife.
What is the best time to take a trip?
There is good fishing in the area from June 1st through November 1st.
What will we catch?
In the Snake River and Yellowstone Lake we catch Cutthroat Trout, in Lewis Lake we catch Brown Trout, on pack trips we catch Cutthroat, Brooke and Lake trout.
