When does your season begin and end?

Depending upon the spring runoff, we usually start floating the river sometime in mid-May. Our season ends on September 30th.

Is this trip entirely in Grand Teton National Park?


Yes, we float through the park viewing the front face of the Tetons. View Mountains. We are a licensed concessionaire of Grand Teton National Park. Many of the river trips of Jackson Hole are not located within Grand Teton National Park.

Is there any whitewater?


No, this trip is entirely scenic and you will not get wet. There are some small fun rapids at the end which we can run to make the kids happy.

How long is the trip?


We float a ten mile section of river. The trip varies depending upon the flow of the river. The average time is two hours.

Where do you depart from?


Our trips depart from either Triangle X Ranch (23 miles North of Jackson) or Moose Visitor Center (12 miles North of Jackson). View Maps.

What should we wear?


Comfortable clothes - jeans or shorts (depending upon temperatures). Layer warmer clothing on top. Rain ponchos will be provided if necessary.

What should we bring?


Sunblock, a hat, cameras, binoculars, water, sunglasses.

Is this trip okay for elderly people and children?
Yes, the trip is not too stressful for any age group but is very enjoyable.

What is the minimum age for children?
Children must be at least four years old and large enough for our life jacket to have a proper fit.

What will we see?
Beautiful scenery. Opportunities for photos of wildlife.

What is the best time to take a trip?
We recommend our early morning or our evening trips for the best wildlife viewing. The trips from mid morning until late afternoon are the warmest.
